Windsor STEM is an active participant in a comprehensive literacy model called Balanced Literacy. This literacy framework encompasses the basic elements of literacy and has embedded extension material to foster critical thinking and problem-solving. During the literacy block, you will find students working in whole groups, small groups, and engaging in independent practice. Each component of the literacy block is carefully thought out to meet the needs of each child.
