School Choice Lottery and School Choice Virtual Fair
The School Choice Lottery is now open through February 29 for Middle and High School students(current 5th graders and higher) and will open for Elementary Students from February 1-March 29, 2024. If you would like your student to have an opportunity to attend another Columbus City School, please fill out a School Choice Application through your parent portal. Please see the article next to this one for more information on accessing your parent portal. Contact the main office at 614-365-5906 for help with your parent portal or help with filling out a School Choice application for your student.
To see what schools might be a good fit for your student and your family, there will be a virtual School Choice Fair on January 11 from 6-7:30pm for Middle and High Schools and February 13 from 6-7:30pm for Elementary Schools.

Parent Portal
Columbus City Schools is now using the Infinite Campus Parent Portal to do everything from changing your address, registering your students for the Student Choice lottery, and updating your emergency contacts. The school staff no longer have the ability to change addresses or remove emergency contacts from your student's file at the school level.

Security Update
For the safety of all students and staff at Windsor, some new policies will be enforced in regards to access to the school building during the school day.
All visitors to Windsor will be required to sign-in on the Raptor computer system in the front vestibule. You will need to have your ID to sign-in appropriately. When in the school building, parents will be escorted by a staff member or safety and security to the location of their business in the building. Individuals who do not appear on the student's Infinite Campus list of contacts will be unable to enter the school building without prior approval.
Please contact the office if you have any questions regarding the enforcement of safe school policies.

Windsor Dress Code
Windsor will no longer be requiring students to wear uniforms, but students must adhere to the Columbus City Schools dress code policy.
The most important items on this list:
- NO SLIDES OR FLIP FLOP SHOES
- NO CROP TOPS
- NO SPAGHETTI STRAP TANK TOPS
- NO VISIBLE UNDERGARMENTS
- SHORTS MUST BE LONGER THAN THE STUDENTS FINGERTIPS
If your student comes to school in clothing that does not follow the dress code, someone will have to bring alternate clothing for your student.
